About the challenge

The third edition of SatsHack by Vinteum is a 40-hour in-person hackathon happening during São Paulo Bitcoin Week, from November 5th at 6 PM to November 7th at 10 AM.
Hosted at Eureka Coworking, this year’s edition will challenge participants to build real-world Bitcoin applications and experiment with cutting-edge technologies in two specialized tracks:

  • Simplicity Track — explore and create new tools, smart contracts, or integrations using Simplicity, Blockstream’s next-generation Bitcoin scripting language.

  • LDK Track — develop applications, wallets, or payment tools using the Lightning Dev Kit (LDK) and the broader Lightning Network ecosystem.

Teams will have access to mentors, workshops, and community support throughout the hackathon. The environment will be open overnight for participants who wish to stay and hack through the night.
