Inspiration

I always struggled with productivity, which is where this idea came from.

What it does

It tracks tasks big and small giving XP when you earn it. It also gives the chance to earn badges

How we built it

I used JSX/React for the UI/UX design and CSS for the styles. I also used JS for functionality and Vite for hosting speed. Firebase was used for authentication, databases, and hosting.

Challenges we ran into

Using firebase database was really hard, but I got through it.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud of making the starry background behind the authentication screens

What we learned

I learned advanced JS and CSS as well as a lot of React. Vite and Firebase coding was also a very new topic to me. I'm glad I learned it because it is very useful for projects that use authentication and databases.

What's next for Study Bitz

I'm going to add more features to the homescreen and add more badges. Potentially even coins and a shop!
