YHACK 2024 is a hackathon meant to facilitate collaboration and learning. We value each individual and hope to make an inclusive environment that welcomes all. Everyone deserves a chance to participate. To be eligible for judging and prizes, all rules must be abided by.
TEAM RULES
- All members must have been accepted as participants into YHACK 2024.
- Teams must be of sizes from 2-4 and you may not be in more than one team.
PROJECT RULES
- All code must be written between the start and end of the 24-hour hackathon: 11 AM EST on Saturday, May 30 and 11 AM EST on Sunday, May 11th.
- Brainstorming and ideation is encouraged, but teams may not write any code before hack starts.
- Publicly available open-source code and libraries can be used, but must be cited in your submission. Plagiarism is not tolerated and teams found to have plagiarized work will be disqualified.
JUDGING RULES
- Teams will be evaluated through a live-demo and presentation of the project. This presentation should describe the main features and benefits of the project. This cannot exceed 3 minutes in length.
- Projects will be judged on how well they innovate and successfully the given problem of their track. See judging criteria in devpost.
- Sponsor challenges will be evaluated based on how well the challenge statement is met.
