Services Offered at Unbound Pelvis

Pelvic Floor Conditions

Pelvic floor physical therapy for pain, tension, weakness, & bladder, bowel, or sexual symptoms. Care explores how pelvic symptoms relate to movement, nervous system state, life history, & load, rather than treating the pelvic floor in isolation.

Anatomical model of the pelvis and spine used in pelvic physical therapy education

Orthopedic Conditions

Orthopedic physical therapy for persistent back, hip, SI joint, neck, & extremity pain. Especially when symptoms haven’t resolved with traditional rehab. Treatment addresses movement patterns, strength, coordination, capacity & resiliency.

Therapeutic needle-based treatment used to address muscle tension and pain

Perinatal Care

Physical Therapy that supports the body during pre-conception, throughout pregnancy, & after birth. Care is paced, collaborative, & responsive to the physical & nervous system changes of this season.

  • A technique that uses thin, sterile needles to address muscle pain, stiffness, & movement limitations by targeting myofascial trigger points. The needle is inserted into the affected tissue without injecting medication, creating a localized stimulus that can reduce muscle tension, improve blood flow, & support the body’s natural healing response, helping restore movement and function.

  • A technique that uses suction cups (glass, silicone, or plastic) placed on the skin to create negative pressure. This gentle lift of the tissue helps reduce myofascial restriction, improve circulation, support lymphatic flow, and decrease muscle tension. Cupping is often used to address pain, stiffness, scar tissue or adhesions, & movement limitations by improving mobility within the skin, fascia, & underlying muscle.

  • A hands-on technique addressing the body’s connective tissue system (fascia), which surrounds & links muscles, nerves, and organs. Gentle, sustained pressure is used to reduce restriction, improve tissue mobility, and decrease pain or stiffness. Rather than targeting muscles alone, this approach focuses on restoring adaptability within the fascial system, which can become restricted due to injury, stress, surgery, posture, or long-term compensation supporting improved movement, circulation, & the body’s natural capacity to heal.

  • Targeted techniques to restore joint mobility & reduce pain in the spine, pelvis, hips, and extremities.

  • Training breath, pressure, & coordination to support pelvic floor function, core stability, & load tolerance.

  • Strength, endurance, capacity & resilience building exercises tailored to the body’s current needs, not performance-based protocols.

Tools in My Toolbox

  • Retraining timing, coordination, & control so movement feels safer, more efficient, & less reactive.

  • Bridging therapy into real life - lifting, carrying, daily tasks, caregiving, & meaningful activities.

  • Progressive, whole-system rehab to support safe return to sport or higher-level activity without rushing or re-injury.

  • Pelvic and whole-body care addressing pain, tension, movement patterns, and nervous system regulation during fertility journeys.

  • Preparation for labor & birth, supporting pelvic mobility, baby positioning during labor & delivery, movement options, breathing & pushing strategies.

  • Postpartum support focused on recovery, regulation, movement confidence, & changing body needs beyond the early weeks.
