April 5th - 6th, 2025

Eligibility

Hackers must be 18 years or older. Teams can be a maximum of 4 people (One person in a team is also allowed).

No cross posting with outside events 

All work must be done during the hacking period

Cheating will be checked

Tracks

Hackers are NOT allowed to submit projects of any other combinations(s) other than what's listed below:

  • WEHack general OR
  • Design Time OR
  • BizTech OR
  • MAX 2 sponsor challenge OR
  • WEHack general + 1 sponsor challenge OR
  • WEHack general + Design Time

You may participate in any of the combinations listed above and add any number of MLH tracks to your submission.

For WEHack General track and any Sponsor challenges, please submit a link to your Github.

For design related tracks, please submit a link to your Figma. Your Figma design must be a prototype.

For BizTech, please submit the following:

  • Business plan: a word doc/PDF submission, max 3 pages
    • A detailed document outlining the business model, market analysis, competitive landscape (SWOT analysis), revenue streams, and growth strategy, cost breakdown.
  • Figma -- must be a Figma prototype
  • OPTIONAL -- GitHub submission

 

Prizes

Prizes will be announced by companies at the opening ceremony. The DevPost will be update after the opening ceremony

Judging Criteria and Winner Selection

Judges will go around in a judging expo setting, and each team will have 5 minutes to present to the judge. Once all teams are judges by multiple people, teams will stop presenting and organizers wil compile the results. The winners for each challenge will be announced at the closing ceremony.
