Here is the updated policy wording. It consolidates the Standard and Medical hold sections into a single procedure that uses your new "Restart Code" mechanism, replacing the old billing/proration rules.
Holds and Medical Holds
Policy Overview The fundamental difference between a Cancellation and a Hold is that a Hold requires a declared restart date.
-
Standard Hold: The declared restart date must be within 90 days of the requested hold start date.
-
Medical Hold: We can offer a Medical Hold for up to six (6) months.
Request Process Holds are granted on a case-by-case basis. To request a hold, the athlete must provide a written request to their coach and accounting@source-e.net including:
-
The reason for the request (Medical Holds require a diagnosis from a physician).
-
The specific date the hold is to be lifted.
Hold Procedure Upon approval of a hold request (Standard or Medical), the following process applies:
-
Account Termination: The athlete’s current subscription will be cancelled in accordance with the standard cancellation policy (above) immediately to halt all future billing.
-
Restart Code: The athlete will be issued a unique Restart Code. This code guarantees the athlete's roster spot with their current coach upon return.
-
Expiration: The Restart Code will expire on the specific restart date declared by the athlete in their request.
If the athlete chooses not to redeem the Restart Code by the expiration date, the hold is considered abandoned and the account will remain closed. Any extension beyond the originally stated date (or beyond 6 months for medical reasons) will be considered a standard athlete start-up.
