What color should my Glycolic and Retinol Pads be?+

The Glycolic and Retinol Pads contain glycolic acid and retinol which give the formula its yellow color visible upon opening.

The Kojic Acid in this product is potent and highly active. While Kojic Acid does not affect the yellow color initially, over time it will darken with changes in light, pH or temperature, causing the actual pads to darken. This is normal and does not reduce the efficacy of the formula.

The seal of the product can also absorb the darkened product. Over time kojic acid will darken causing pads to darken as well. Off gassing can occur, which can be absorbed by the seal of the jar and may result in darkening or discoloration of the seal. Discoloration of the seal is normal and does not reduce efficacy of the product.

Why does my ingredient listing on the bottle not match the listing online?+

Skin Script is committed to quality and innovation first. Improvements may be made to formulations that result in a composition revision.

I’m a medical provider, can I have an account?+

Physician, Registered Nurse, and Nurse Practitioner licenses are accepted, with proof of menu of services showing aesthetic services are provided (e.g. website, brochure, etc.).

Do you ship internationally?+

We are not able to ship to addresses outside of the US, except for US military bases and US territories.

My tracking number says my package was delivered, but I haven’t received it. What should I do?+

Once shipped, a package could take up to 10 business days to arrive. Occasionally, a carrier may mark the package as delivered, but it may show up the next day. We recommend calling your local Post Office first, as they can give the most accurate location of the package once it has left our facility. If you have not received the package within 10 business days, please give us a call at (480) 543-1121.

Products that do not contain an AHA (such as lactic or glycolic), a BHA (like salicylic), TCA, or retinoids are considered pregnancy friendly. For pregnancy friendly products, check out our products formulated without acids or retinoids.

What are the contraindications to chemical peels or enzymes with acid?+

Recent sun exposure, pregnancy, breastfeeding, certain topical medications/antibiotics/steroids, isotretinoin, OTC and prescription retinoids, skin disorders, chronic illnesses, and open wounds.

This list could be extensive, so please use your best judgment in selecting peel candidates to keep clients safe.

Why are my Triple C Serum/Lemon Zest Enzyme/Peptide Eye Serum products a different color than last time I ordered?+

Due to the high citrus content in products containing Vitamin C, along with using natural based ingredients, the color of these products can vary from batch to batch. These products can oxidize faster than other products. The color can vary from a light yellow to a dark orange. When oxidized, the color will range from a dark brown to an amber color.

The shelf life of these products is approximately 3 months from the time received.

Why are there ‘crystals’ in my Pomegranate Enzyme?+

Salicylic acid found in this enzyme can sometimes crystallize, leaving what looks like small crystals in the enzyme. This is normal, just give it a good stir and it will dissipate.

How much should I charge for this service?+

Due to varying circumstances, we are unable to provide specific pricing advice. We recommend considering your target demographic, the time required to perform the service, the cost of materials utilized in the process, your personal level of expertise and experience, the level of competition within your locality, as well as the existing market prices for similar services.
