Many of our programs and events are drop-in but some do require registration.

Go to the full calendar, click on the program title to see more details, click on the "Begin Registration" box on the bottom of the page, and fill out the required information.

Note: You will only receive one email reminder per email address used, regardless of how many individuals have been registered.

If a program is full, you can add participants to the waitlist. We recommend that you use the waitlist as we may get cancellations and waitlist people will automatically be given any spots in a program that open up. Walk-ins will be accepted if there is space available.

Yes! If you need to cancel, click the link in your confirmation email (check the junk folder if you don't see it in your inbox).

Please contact the Programming Team at [email protected] or call us at 780-962-4423 ext. 0 for assistance.

A program may not be appropriate for a younger audience because it was created for a particular development stage and the program content may not be suitable. If an activity is too complex or challenging participants may become frustrated and not fully engage in the program. We only have a limited number of staff and are unable to provide 1:1 assistance to each participant during programs.

As per SGPL's Patron Code of Conduct, children under the age of twelve must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver in the library. This includes during programs (exception: a waiver has been signed for a specific program). Caregivers must remain on the library premises for the program duration.

If you still would like your child to participate or have any questions about a program, please contact the Programming Team at [email protected] or call us at 780-962-4423 ext. 0.

Please contact the Programming Team ahead at [email protected] or call us at 780-962-4423 ext. 0 for assistance.

We are unable to accommodate private groups such as birthday parties and team building activities as part of our community programming.

We reserve the right to cancel registrations should large groups register without contacting the Programming Team for options first.

However, we also offer library tours and outreach visits. Tours and outreach visits are free and available for any group or organization within the Spruce Grove area.
