REVIVE is a designathon challenging participants to redesign a failed or forgotten product. Participants can form a team ready to conquer and create an improved innovation. REVIVE is for design daredevils, curious beginners, entrepreneurs, aspiring product managers, designers, and marketing managers.

Our Keynote Speaker
Our keynote speaker is Satoru Sasozaki, Co-Founder & CEO of Waffle.
Waffle is an app that allows friends and family to create a group journal to share their favorite moments.
Satoru will be discussing Waffle, how Waffle was founded, when Satoru knew he wanted to pursue the idea, his experience with pivoting, and more!
Eligibility
Who can participate?
All students (18+), from Class of 2021 to Class of 2024! You are all eligible to apply to participate in REVIVE. Use your .edu email or school email equivalent when applying!
How many people can be on a team?
You may form teams of up to 4 students. Don't have a team? We will provide team formation opportunities at the beginning of the event to help you meet other students

You can submit your project until April 25 2021 @12:00 PM EDT. If you have any questions, feel free to email us.
Submission Criteria
Video link - must be 3 minutes or less. Must be a public link. Devpost can support links from YouTube, Vimeo or Youku.
Prototype link - must be a public link for judges to view the prototype. The prototype must be a clickable prototype.
We will only be accepting public links. We will not look at submissions that require downloads.
NOTE: If the following links do not work, the team will try to email you about the issue as early as possible. If link issues are not resolved during the judging period, the submission will be disqualified from being considered for awards.

Received second-highest score of submissions.
3rd Place
Received third-highest score of submissions.
Rookie Award
A special award for newcomers! This award goes to the best team with at least half of the team members who are at their first designation: for solo and two-person teams, at least one of the team members has to be a beginner; for a three-person or four-person team, at least two have to be a beginner.
Crowd-Favorite Award
During the designathon, each participant can vote for up to three teams (excluding their own) and the team with the highest votes gets the award!
