Do I need a credit card for the free plan?
No. The free plan is completely free, forever. No credit card required.
What is a digest exactly?
A digest is an email delivered to your inbox on a schedule — weekly, daily, or hourly. It contains a summary of your recent GitHub commits: a narrative of what you shipped, key themes, highlights, and a breakdown by repo. You don't have to do anything once it's set up.
What happens after my free trial?
After 7 days, you'll be charged $4.99/month (PRO) or $9.99/month (Unlimited). You can cancel before then at no cost — no questions asked.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from Settings → Billing at any time. You keep access until the end of your billing period.
What's the difference between PRO and Unlimited?
PRO gives you weekly and daily digests across up to 10 repos — more than enough for most developers. Unlimited adds hourly digests and scales up to 25 repos per digest, for engineers who want the most current picture of their activity.
How do digests work?
We fetch your recent commits from GitHub, group them by theme, and produce a human-readable narrative. Your code is never stored — commit data is only processed during summary generation and immediately discarded. No setup required on your end.
How many repos can I monitor?
Free: 3 repos per digest. PRO: 10 repos. Unlimited: 25 repos. RepoSweeper (the repo manager) has no limits on any plan.
Can I change which repos are in my digest?
Yes — open RepoRecap, go to the Settings tab, and click “Edit schedule & repos.” You can add or remove repos anytime.
Is my data secure?
Yes. GitHub tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM. Commit data is only processed during summary generation and is never stored. We follow security best practices and never log sensitive data.
Can I upgrade from PRO to Unlimited?
Yes. Go to Settings → Billing or the pricing page and click “Upgrade to Unlimited.” The change takes effect immediately and billing is prorated.
