THUNDER SHARK!
My first-ever solo show featured paintings inspired by traditional American tattoo flash design. Each water color was painted on wood panel, contour cut, and coated in resin. The pieces were totally badass and completely indestructible.
As a special bonus, the show featured embroidery from Rachel Wallach—delicate and beautiful complements to my more durable works.
This collection was on display for one night (7/27/2019) at HOLE IN THE SKY DC then up for ongoing display at Homme Gallery starting 7/30/2019 with a closing reception + artist talk on 8/10/2019.
