* Placing an order means that you have read, understood and agreed with all aspects presented on this page. *


ORDERING

 

1.  Why haven’t I received an order confirmation?

Please check the spam folder of your e-mail inbox. Another possibility is that you might have entered your e-mail address wrong while placing the order. If you can’t find it, please contact me and I will resend you the order confirmation.

 

2.  Are your prints signed?

All prints that you purchase through Big Cartel are titled and feature Ordo Carpathicus logos manually stamped or embossed on them. 

All limited edition prints come hand-numbered by me, and are paired with a certificate of authenticity. Open edition prints will not feature any numbering or certificate.

All prints will have a mention in the shop as either “Limited Edition” or “Open Edition”.

You can also find my open edition prints in my INPRNT shop (print on demand service in the USA).

 



PAYMENT

 

1.  What payment options do you accept?

Paypal, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and almost any other kind of credit or debit cards are accepted.

For credit cards, Stripe is the payment processor; you will see this name on your order receipt.

 

2.  My payment isn’t going through, can you help?

If you’re having trouble getting your payment through, try using a different device or browser. If you’re still struggling, please get in touch.

 



SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

 

1.  How much is the shipping?

All shipping costs include postage, packaging and processing of the order. 

All orders include a tracking number, which you will receive as soon as your order has been posted.

PLEASE NOTE:

* These rates are subject to change.
* Each additional item that you add will bump the shipping cost up.
* If your order includes both prints and clothing, the order will be sent as one parcel.

The shipping rates are:

  • for Australia: €35.50 standard tracked shipping; €0.50 each additional item
  • for Canada: €27.50 standard tracked shipping; €0.50 each additional item
  • for Europe (non-EU countries, excludes UK): €15 standard tracked shipping; €1 each additional item
  • for EU: €15 standard tracked shipping; €1 each additional item
  • for South America: €35 standard tracked shipping; €1 each additional item
  • for UK: €15.50 standard tracked shipping; €1 each additional item
  • for USA: Due to new regulations in the United States and territories, shipping there is temporarily HALTED until further notice.

Canada includes:

All 10 provinces and 3 territories.

Europe (non-EU countries, excludes UK) includes:

Andorra; Albania; Åland Islands; Bosnia and Herzegovina; Belarus; Switzerland; Faroe Islands; Guernsey; Gibraltar; Isle of Man; Iceland; Jersey; Liechtenstein; Monaco; Moldova; Montenegro; North Macedonia; Norway; Serbia; Russian Federation; Svalbard and Jan Mayen; San Marino; Ukraine; and Holy See (Vatican City State).

European Union includes:

Austria; Belgium; Bulgaria; Cyprus; Czechia; Germany; Denmark; Estonia; Spain; Finland; France; Greece; Croatia; Hungary; Ireland; Italy; Lithuania; Luxembourg; Latvia; Malta; Netherlands; Poland; Portugal; Romania; Sweden; Slovenia; and Slovakia.

United States includes:

All 50 states, Armed Forces Americas, Armed Forces Europe, Armed Forces Pacific, and the following territories: American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, United States Minor Outlying Islands, and U.S. Virgin Islands.

 

2.  When will my order be posted?

As soon as your order is dispatched, you will receive the tracking number via e-mail.

Make sure you provide the correct e-mail address when ordering.

 

3.  When will my order arrive?

While there is no way to be sure, the shipping times are approximately:

Europe: 5-14 business days

Rest of the world: 1-8 weeks.

- No rights can be derived from these shipping times mentioned above. -

Customs might take a little longer to send the package to your address, which is one of the main reasons for delayed arrival.

Always keep an eye on your tracking number.

 

4.  Can I get my order delivered on a specific date?

No. Since the mail services are handling the delivery, I cannot guarantee delivery on specific dates.

 

5.  My order hasn’t arrived yet. Where is my package?

Please allow at least 2-4 weeks for your order to arrive if you’re located in the EU. Strikes, weather, public holidays, various events etc. can influence the delivery times.

The tracking number will always provide you with the latest whereabouts of your package.

If you're based in Europe, still haven’t received your order after 4 weeks and your tracking number isn’t providing new info, get in touch and I’ll try to sort it out with the shipping provider.

Same goes for non-European orders, if 10 weeks have passed and your package hasn't arrived, get in touch.

 

6.  My order arrived damaged.

If your package arrives damaged due to mishandling by the postal services, I can recommend you get in touch with the shipping company to file a complaint.

After filing a complaint, please get in touch with me so I can provide you with a suitable solution such as sending a replacement shipment or refunding the purchase.

I do require photos of the damage so I can assess whether I have any fault in packing your order.

 

7.  Do I need to pay import costs?

All orders are shipped from The Netherlands.

If you’re outside the EU, it’s possible that your government charges import costs and taxes on your order. Import costs are not included in the order total.

You, as a receiver will be asked to pay for these costs. The amount depends on which country you live in.

 

8.  I filled the wrong address during checkout.

If your order hasn’t been shipped out yet, contact me ASAP with the correct address. If your order was already shipped, there is nothing I can do about it.

 



RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

 

1.  I have changed my mind. Can I return the order?

I accept returns due to change of mind as long as you request a return within 10 business days of receipt of the parcel.

You must return the order in its original packaging, unused, unwashed or soiled, in other words in re-sellable condition.

You will be required to arrange shipping and you will be responsible for the cost of return shipping.

Once returns are received and accepted, I will issue your refund.

Please allow for a few days until your refund reaches you.

 

2.  I ordered the wrong item / wrong size.

If your order hasn’t been shipped out yet, contact me ASAP with the right item(s) that you wish or the correct size.

Please return the wrong-sized item(s). Check the previous question for info on how to return your order, or part of it.

 

3.  I received the wrong item / wrong size.

Mistakes can happen. If you received something you didn’t order or you’re missing something from the order, please contact me within 10 business days.

Always state your order number and attach a photo of your order as you received it.

Please return the wrong item(s). For info, please see the first question from “Returns”.

I will send you the right item(s) on my own expense.

2.  Who is running this shop?

This is a one person business - from creating designs to putting them on various materials, packing and shipping orders out.

Remember that this is not my day job, but merely my way of turning my visions into a palpable form of expression.

 



OTHER QUESTIONS

 

1.  Where are your products made?

As I'm currently residing in The Netherlands, everything is handmade and printed here by myself, at home.

2.  What paper is used for your prints?

On each product page you can find info regarding the paper and ink that I use. I’m always experimenting with paper, so for open edition prints, the quality might differ as the numbers go up.

The paper I choose is always acid-free and complying with the ISO 9706 regulation (long life). This ensures that your print will stay in top condition for years to come.

 

3.  Do you take commissions?

Due to time restraints, I don’t take personal commissions.

 

4.  When will you have new items available?

As soon as something is cooking, you will find out via Instagram. So please turn on your post notifications over there and hang tight.

 

5.  Can I reproduce your design if I bought an item from your shop?

Under no circumstances are you allowed to do that. You are not allowed to copy or use my designs for commercial purposes (logo, flyers, website, stickers, etc.).

Copyright remains in all instances with Ordo Carpathicus.
