By participating in the Octopus Hackathon, you agree to the following:

  • All work submitted must be developed during the hackathon period.

  • Teams may consist of up to 5 participants.

  • Plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification.

  • Participants retain full ownership of their work.

  • Projects must not violate any intellectual property laws.

  • Be respectful and inclusive – follow the Devpost Code of Conduct.

  • Judges’ decisions are final.

Points-Based Evaluation Criteria

Projects will be evaluated using a point-based system, with scores allocated based on the project’s domain, innovation, feasibility, impact, and execution quality. The evaluation fields and their maximum points are as follows:

Note: Points represent the maximum weight assigned per domain. Judges may distribute points across multiple evaluation aspects such as innovation, usability, scalability, and technical implementation, ensuring a fair and comprehensive assessment.
