Transcripts Are Built In

InterviewCue generates transcripts for you. Upload your audio through the Manage Assets dialog on your post-production page and InterviewCue automatically produces a high-quality WebVTT transcript with accurate timestamps for every spoken segment -- no extra steps needed. You'll get a notification when it's ready.

If You Already Have a Transcript

Some recording platforms export transcripts directly -- Zoom and Riverside both produce WebVTT files you can download from your recording dashboard. If you already have a transcript you trust, you can upload it through Manage Assets instead of generating a new one. InterviewCue accepts WebVTT (.vtt) files.

If your platform exports SRT rather than VTT, any free online converter will produce a compatible VTT file in seconds.
