- HeyTutor’s curriculum is designed to support English Learners (EL) by incorporating various features that address their unique needs and promote language acquisition and academic success.
- Vocabulary that may be unfamiliar to EL students is highlighted in the tutor notes, facilitating discussion and comprehension.
- Lessons are enriched with visual and graphic supports, such as diagrams, to provide additional clarity and aid in understanding complex topics.

In the 2024-2025 school year, 853 English Learner students participated in math HeyTutor tutoring and 850 English Learner students participated in ELA HeyTutor tutoring. Of the math students, the amount of students testing at or above grade level grew 44.45% from beginning to end of the program. Out of the ELA students, the amount of students testing at or above grade level grew by 54.06% from beginning-of-program to end-of-program.
