Registration Completion

In addition to registering on Devpost, participants must register using our registration form at https://tally.so/r/n0gdr6 in order to complete registration.

Team Formation

Hackers may choose their own teams of 2-4. In order to compete for a prize, you must be on a team of this size.

Project Submission

Hackers must submit an initial project submission to Devpost by 9:30 AM EST on February 1, 2026 to be eligible for prizes. This initial submission will determine what prize categories you are submitting to and mode of judging.

Any final changes must be made by 11:00 PM EST on February 1, 2026.

  • This must include a video explaining the submission (3 minutes min. 5 minutes max.) and link to a GitHub Repo containing your code (both links must be set to public access).
  • This video will factor into your judging, so please make sure to present your full project and address the categories!

By submitting a project to Devpost, hackers verify that they have abided by the following:

  • All work on the project has been completed during the hackathon hours
  • The project was completed only by the people listed on the submission

Judging Logistics

In-Person: This year, we will be implementing a science fair-style judging system. Teams directly present their project to judges in person. Judges will evaluate projects during the presentation and have a chance to ask questions afterward.

  • Please be sure to arrive 10 minutes before your time slot! The in-person timeline will be emailed to you sometime between 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM, February 4th. Please check your emails and the discord!
  • Note: Your assigned time slot can be anytime between 1:00-6:00 PM, make sure the team is free during this time block!

Hackers must abide by MLH Code of Conduct
