What is HackOverflow?

HackOverflow is a competition focused on the use of both hardware and software to create innovative projects by students. This is a hardware hackathon open to every undergraduate and graduate of any university across the nation. No experience with hardware or programming is required to participate. All team memebers need to be 18 or older.

Requirements

Each submission should include the following:

  • All the code used (both sources and code programmed by the team)
  • Pictures of the project
  • A Description of your project
  • Team name
  • Names of team members
  • What the future holds for your project
  • Accomplishments you're proud of

  • Innovation
    Innovation is producing a product that is original, creative, and brings a new, unique approach to a problem.
  • Level of Automation
    The level of automation of your project is how much your creation can do on its own, without human help.
  • Ease of Use
    Ease of use refers to how easy it is for the average individual to use your project without instruction.
  • Execution
    The execution of your project relates to how well your project accomplishes its intended goal.
  • Relevance
    Relevance refers to the usefulness and applicability of your project to help the average individual.
  • Sustainability
    Sustainability includes the number of given materials used and the impact on future societal sustainability.
