HackMizzou is a weekend long college hackathon hosted every year at the University of Missouri, Columbia. A hackathon is an event where developers and designers collaborate in teams to build mobile apps and websites. At the end of the weekend, applicants submit their creations and judges award prizes based on innovation, use of certain technologies, and many other criteria. Food and sleeping places are provided - although applicants are encouraged to stay up hacking.
