What is HackPoly.Tech INIT?

HackPoly.Tech INIT is a beginner-friendly hackathon designed exclusively for young minds. Whether you're a coding wizard or just dipping your toes into programming, this event is tailor-made for you. INIT is an intivational hackathon for middle and high school students. Hackers will have 12 hours to work on their projects, turn ideas into tangible and awesome projects.

Our mission?

To ignite curiosity, foster teamwork, and inspire the next generation of innovators.

It’s our inaugural hackathon, and we’re excited to start this adventure with you.

Requirements

What to Build

Participants are encouraged to unleash their creativity and build innovative projects related to technology, coding, and problem-solving. While there are no strict limitations, here are some ideas to get you started:

  • Web Apps: Create a web application that solves a real-world problem or provides a useful service.
  • Mobile Apps: Develop an app for iOS or Android that enhances user experience or simplifies tasks.
  • Games: Design an interactive game—whether it’s a puzzle, adventure, or simulation.
  • Hardware Hacks: Combine software and hardware to build a cool gadget or device.

Bring your ideas to life. Build apps, websites, or anything else that comes to mind.

What to Submit

Share your code repository (GitHub, GitLab, etc.) with us. Make sure it’s well-documented and organized. Create a short demo video (1-3 minutes) demonstrating your project. Explain its functionality, features, and how it addresses a specific problem. Additionally, on devpost write a brief overview of your project. Include details like the technologies used, challenges faced, and any unique aspects.
