Rules:

  1. Teams can have 1-3 members.
  2. All work must be done during the hackathon (February 20-22, 2026).
  3. You may use open-source libraries, APIs, and publicly available data.
  4. Pre-existing projects or code are not permitted.
  5. You may submit to multiple prize categories.
  6. All team members must be registered for the hackathon.
  7. Projects must be submitted on Devpost by the deadline (Sunday, February 22 at 10:00 AM EST).
  8. Judges' decisions are final.

Code of Conduct

Hack@Davidson is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, or computing experience.

We do not tolerate harassment in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate at any hackathon venue, including talks, workshops, parties, social media, and other online communication.

Participants violating these rules may be expelled from the hackathon at the discretion of the organizers.

Harassment includes:

  • Offensive comments related to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion
  • Sexual images in public spaces
  • Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following
  • Harassing photography or recording
  • Sustained disruption of talks or events
  • Unwelcome sexual attention
  • Advocating for or encouraging any of the above

If you are being harassed, notice someone else being harassed, or have any concerns, please contact a hackathon organizer immediately.
