I make computers go beep boop!
Iβm a biologist by education who jumped into software development and data science shortly after finishing my Masters, self-teaching my way into web development. Iβve spent over 9 years in the software industry in various capacities, doing everything from data wrangling to building robust, scalable web applications. Now, I am happily working with low-level programming and modeling simulations. I spend a lot of my time thinking about how we can use computing to learn more about our world and solve health problems.
- π Python: My go-to language for scripting (sorry Bash script!), data wrangling, and general automation work. Ideas >> Code at the speed of typing.
- π¨ C: I love C for the simplicty and power it gives developers. It's great for performance-critical projects and systems programming.
- βοΈ Assembly: For when I'm feeling extra adventurous or trying to reverse engineer how something is working. Still a beginner with ASM, and mostly play with RISC-V and ARM.
- π¬ Go Lang: A sweet middle ground between high-level Python and low-level C/ASM. Type safety + performance.
