A "Visit" is one instance of a NEMO mechanic repairing your bike in-person at your chosen location. We can typically perform more than one repair from our menu during a single Visit, as long as we do not exceed the general timeframe of about 45 minutes.
Probably not. While there are times we make exceptions for unusual repairs that we are capable of fixing, the repair menu exists because not all repairs are feasible in a mobile setting. Things like disc brake bleeds, bottom bracket repair or complete wheel truing can require clean indoor settings, large equipment or longer timelines. Most likely, yes. We work on all the major brands. If you have any questions send us a message with a picture of your bike and we can let you know if there will be any issue.
Our mechanics carry point-of-sale systems and will charge for labor and parts at the completion of the visit.
If your bike needs new parts (e.g. new tire, chain, brake pads, etc.) then you can pay for those separately at the time of the repair. Our mechanics accept all major credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Unfortunately, we do not carry cash.
In short, no. We offer “safety checks” that are essentially 15 min tune-ups. These should not be substituted for an annual comprehensive overhaul.
