Hi everyone ,,

Would somebody translate to Spanish the word "fein" please ?

Especially do not fein affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity & disenchantment it is perennial as the grass.

    Propongo una solución adicional; además de "fingir", ¿no pudiera traducirse "aparentar"?

    "Aparentó interés en el asunto." = "He feigned interest in the matter / subject." A próposito de "feign," existe, como todos lo saben, su sinónimo "pretend". Al emplear este sinónimo, hay que tener presente la construcción sintáctica consuetudinaria: "he pretended to be interested in the matter / subject" (no es tan común oír "he pretended interest in the . . . "). A la inversa, no se dice, "he feigned to be interested . . . ", sino "he feigned interest."
