Hello,

I want to ask you which option is suitable.

Due to the project implementation, these households have their income decreased/decrease.

    It could depend on whether the action is in the past or future:

    ...these households will have their income decrease.
    OR
    ...these households have had their income decreased. (Actually, in the past tense, either "decreased" or "decrease" are fine!)

    Regarding the word "decrease"...

    Two years ago her husband died. And, I met her yesterday. It seemed that she decreased her grief.

    What do you think the sentences? Especially the words "decreased her grief".

    Do you think I used them right?

    Please, correct them if founding errors.

    "Decreased her grief" does not work, I'm afraid. "It seemed her grief had decreased" would be okay; however, I would use "diminished" instead: "It seemed that her grief had diminished." Another option would be "It seemed her grief had subsided."

    As Deporahi indicated it is the grief which had diminished she did not diminish the grief.
