Sometimes I'm just wondering what is with people desperately wanting translations of their goon comics so bad they resort to AI slop/shoddy machine translations

Maybe it's just me, but as long as a good doujin comes out that hits every part of my kinks perfectly I'll be damned if I care enough to understand what it means (or if there's even dialogues in it), comics are a visual medium and seeing the pictures of the characters there being hot and fucked is like, all I need? Having an English version of a comic is always just a bonus IMO, and all MTL/AI slop translations does is just dumbing down good translation/localization efforts, so it really sucks that a lot of people just wants to do this
