The Inspiration for Yard Runners was to simulate Howard University so prospective students could get familiar with finding buildings on the yard and immerse themselves in Howard culture. The game allows students to walk to various buildings and quiz themselves on classes Howard students take in real life in those buildings. There are 6 interactive academic buildings in total and a stadium. If the user went to Locke Hall which is home of arts and sciences, they would take an arts and science quiz. We built it entirely using RobloxStudios. Challenges we ran into were not being familiar with the software and having to look up tutorials to make the game. We are proud that we were able to build a successful game and use various tools and applications on the RobloxStudios to achieve our goal. What's next for Yard Runners is expanding on the map to add more buildings outside of the yard, and changing the interior of the buildings to boost interactivity.
