WhiteSpace is a platform for human expression. WhiteSpace is a digital whiteboard available to the internet. Artists are queued to access an "idea space," a reduction of the total available area. Once queued, the image currently in the space can be modified by the Artist for 5 minutes. The tool available is a brush.

The idea behind WhiteSpace is the celebration of temporal existence: every 24 hours the entire space is cleared, there is no database to hold the images. The audience can view it on their monitors at

This gives the creations intrinsic value based on its future unavailability. There are no embedded links or images, all content must be created in the 5 minute span.

It's not beautiful or technically rigorous. It's spam. It's doodles. It's crude. It's honest.

WhiteSpace was made with scalability in mind. The demo displays a 4-idea space view (2x2). This could expand to 50x50 or 100x100 easily, given the relatively low demand for memory.
