Inspiration
- virtual reality
- shells
- sleep deprivation
What it does
interprets commands with bash and provides output "suitable" for a vr headset
How I built it
badly
Challenges I ran into
me
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
it works. I tested it with an osvr hdk connected as a normal display and text was legible though my eyes hurt a lot
What I learned
don't do this
What's next for vrsh
- alignment should be calculated based on terminal dimensions instead of hardcoded like some pre-arithmetic caveman technology
- stop it from stripping leading whitespaces in command output so figlet works
Built With
- awk
- bash
- sed
