Inspiration
We understand that many UWaterloo students lack social interaction due to the fact that they tend to stay alone and work. Additionally, sometimes the people that students know can be limited to their own programs as they often do not have time for in-person events. UW Bubbles seeks to provide students with enriched live communication with students all around the campus. The app acts as a platform for UWaterloo students to easily forge relationships and feel included in the Waterloo society.
What it does
It helps uwaterloo students to communicate with each other. It could also recommends people to others for better communication.
How we built it
We used springboot as backend, pytorch for recommendation AI, and Vue / Flutter for frontend.
