Inspiration

Inspired by the one-shot challenge, I decided a timer was the best single-prompt solution to build.

What it does

The taskerdooderdoo app is a to-do list app that has a timer for tasks on the page. Tasks expire 24hrs after they are put up. There is also an option to mark tasks as complete and an option to manually delete a task.

How we built it

The app is a single prompt app built by the following prompt:

I want to build a to-do list with a twist; tasks disaapear if not done within 24hrs and it utilizes localstorage and time tracking. the app also has random time quotes and jokes on the footer. the app has a gradient background, blurred cards and smooth animations. include a manual delete button.

Challenges we ran into

No challenges whatsoever except bolt.new overload during the build process.

Having it working and utilizing local storage from a single prompt.

How to give quality prompts to output exactly what we need.

What's next for Taskerdooderdoo

Gamify the app for people to compete on number of tasks completed.
