Tankdit!
A fun 3D user-generated content (UGC)-centric tank shooter where users can create whatever map they want and play on any of the community's maps, all on Reddit. Users get flairs for creating maps, and for obtaining certain awards in-game.

- old style tank shooters
- modern cartoonish games like Boomerang-fu
- Super Mario Maker, which lets you create maps
What it does
A user-generated content (UGC)-centric tank shooter where users can create whatever map they want and play on any of the community's maps, all on Reddit.
Users get flairs for creating maps, and for obtaining certain awards in-game. It is deeply integrated into the Reddit flairs, comments, posts, system.
How we built it
Devvit Web, BabylonJS, free 3D models (credits in game)

Creating a 3D tank shooter in a short amount of time was challenging but I learnt a lot!
What's next for Tankdit!
- Multiplayer!
- Community Map! (like r/place, but for our games' maps!)
