Augmented Reality up until now has been an overused novelty act. The AR application landscape is cluttered with clunky User Experiences and Marker based apps that have little to no replay value.

Mixed Reality for the win

Mixed Reality is the middle ground between Augmented Reality, and Virtual Reality. It allows for users to experience simulated/virtual worlds by walking through them, and seeing through them. We believe that a mixed reality approach is the best approach for at least the next 5 - 10 years. We are also fans of things that work. By preferring hardware sensors to Computer Vision (which is computationally expensive, and prone to catastrophic failure), we have built a system that not only works, but is also a natural and truly magical experience.

Characters that travel with you, and remember you

Entertainment and interactive media are premier experiences for Mixed Reality, especially when the focus is on Storytelling. Artificial Intelligence has the potential to add life to virtual environments, through background characters, wildlife, and even through digital actors that interact directly with human participants. Our interactive characters can travel with players as personal companions, moving throughout their devices and bringing their memories and experiences with them.
