Smart Inventory

Inspiration

What it does

It scan new buy clothes and add them into a personnal database, through the means of RFID or by Bluetooth with your Smartphone.

How we built it

With an Arduino Mega as the Central Unit, we had an LCD screen for the display of informations, RFID rc-522 sensor for scan, Bluetooth HC-05 for the smartphone sharing, and a Webduino Wifi module.

Challenges we ran into

• Complexity of the NFC reading/editing
• Complexity of the setup of a database (It was a full electronic team)

What's next for Smart Inventory

The next will be to improve our project, with more sensors, a better HMI, a true database etc. Maybe a use for our robotic association space to categorize our stuff.
