I followed the instructions in the a-quick-addon tutorial and the modifed the project to meet my needs

No challenge! it was documented very well, I just didn't want to use NgRok for security reasons and could figure out a way..

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I learned about Atlasian APIs and found it easy to use! not really a thing to be proud of! but I'm really happy that I did this so I can use these APIs in my and my team / work advantage in the future
