As a young adult it can feel like from one moment to another you've been thrust into the world of adulthood. Now you have to learn all about things like insurance and taxes and it can seem extremely overwhelming. Although this project doesn't address the latter, there is still much to be learned through the former. Especially through a format that allows you to make a variety of options and explore everything there needs to know about insurance.

What it does

A Young Adult's Unrealistic Guide to Insurance is a character character that allows you to then take that said character and put it through different story paths to learn more about insurance. It allows you to chose from a variety of assets to create a character that most resembles you. Through the story you are able to choose different paths relating to different forms of insurance.

How we built it

We were able to build it through using Gemini's generative AI to scan your face and use that plus the already existing assets to create a character that looks most similar to you.

Challenges we ran into

Ultimately the challenges we ran into was creating enough assets in a short amount of time but also getting them to align properly on the website. When we were finally able to have some breakthrough the assets it was unfortunately too late and we were unable to bring everything together in such little time.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Although incomplete we are still very proud of the proof of concept we were able to have. As well has what we were able to accomplish with the Gemini generative AI.

What we learned

One of the biggest things we learned was to definitely have some better time management with the assets, whether it be have them made before the project or in a more optimized way during it.
