💡 Inspiration How many times do we overspend every month, only to realize we've drifted even further from that important purchase—whether it's a new laptop, a vacation, or just rent without stress? We wanted to build something that could be your no-judgment financial buddy. One that doesn’t nag—but gently guides you back on track.

🤖 What It Does Rudolut is your quirky financial sidekick. It studies your spending patterns, gives friendly (and sometimes cheeky) feedback, and predicts your future financial movements to help you stay in control—without spreadsheets or panic attacks.

🛠 How We Built It We used HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for the frontend, paired with Python for backend logic. We deployed Rudolut on Vercel, and integrated it with the Gemini API to give it that extra brainpower.

🧩 Challenges We Ran Into Balancing both frontend polish and backend performance wasn’t easy. We had to make real engineering decisions—like how to deploy effectively and how to make everything look good without becoming a full-time UI designer.

🏆 Accomplishments We're Proud Of We built a smooth, user-friendly interface and a working backend—both of which play nicely together. Rudolut isn’t just a concept—it works!

📚 What We Learned How to connect APIs within a Jupyter notebook and integrate Google Gemini into a real-world project. We also learned that making financial tools not boring is a skill.

🚀 What’s Next for Rudolut We’re planning to add more smart features like task automation, deeper personalization, and better security. We also want to level up both the frontend and backend, so Rudolut becomes even more helpful—and maybe a little sassier.
