Inspiration
The inspiration behind RewardsRadar stemmed from my passion for creating seamless and rewarding shopping experiences. I noticed the overwhelming number of loyalty programs available, each with its own card or app. I wanted to simplify this process and provide users with a single platform to access all their loyalty programs, earn rewards, and discover personalized offers.

Throughout the development of RewardsRadar, I had the opportunity to learn and grow in several areas. I honed my skills in app development, data management, and user experience design. I also deepened my understanding of loyalty programs and how to integrate my app with the Square API.
How we built it
I built RewardsRadar using modern technologies and frameworks, ensuring a robust and user-friendly application. The project leveraged Django as the backend framework, allowing it to efficiently manage user data, loyalty programs, and transactions.

RewardsRadar is a comprehensive loyalty rewards app that streamlines and enhances the shopping experience. It allows users to effortlessly earn rewards, access personalized offers, and stay updated on the latest promotions. With RewardsRadar, users can easily accumulate points and track rewards.
Challenges we ran into
Developing RewardsRadar was not without its challenges. One of the major hurdles was integrating with different loyalty program APIs, each with its own authentication methods and data structures. I had to carefully navigate these complexities to ensure a smooth and consistent experience for users. Additionally, building a scalable and secure platform required extensive testing and optimization. I invested significant effort in performance tuning and security measures to safeguard user information and deliver a seamless experience even during peak usage.
