✨ About the Project

PitchMuse solves a critical pain point for early-stage founders: creating a pitch deck is often the most intimidating and time-consuming step in launching a startup. Not everyone is a designer, and not everyone knows how to communicate investor-friendly narratives.

I built PitchMuse to take that pressure off. With just a short description of your startup idea, it generates a beautifully designed, 10-slide pitch deck—complete with Problem, Solution, Market, Team, and more.

💡 Inspiration

I’ve seen countless founders with great ideas struggle to express them in slides. Either they spend hours on tools like PowerPoint or pay hundreds for help. I wanted to build something that empowered solo entrepreneurs, hackers, and non-technical founders to tell their story clearly—without needing design or fundraising experience.

🔧 How I Built It

  • Frontend: Built in React with TailwindCSS for a fast and responsive experience.
  • AI Integration: Used AI API with best system prompt to generate structured pitch content based on a single user prompt.
  • UI/UX: Animations via Framer Motion and icons from Lucide-react for a modern, smooth design feel.
  • PDF Export: Converts dynamic pitch decks into clean, shareable PDFs.

🧠 What I Learned

  • Prompt design is everything – I had to iterate heavily on prompt structures to get investor-style content that’s persuasive yet concise.
  • Design matters even in MVPs – A clean UI boosts user confidence in AI-generated content.
  • People love speed and control – Users want fast results but also want to refine them. Balancing automation with flexibility was key.

🧗 Challenges Faced

  • 🤯 Structuring AI outputs into a consistent, modular slide format
  • 📄 Making the exported PDFs look as clean as the live app
  • ✍️ Designing prompts that adapt across startup types (e.g., SaaS vs. B2C vs. AI)
  • 🧪 Building an intuitive, editable interface while keeping it light for hackathon standards

PitchMuse was built in the spirit of democratizing entrepreneurship. Not everyone has pitch skills—but with AI, anyone can tell a compelling story. I’m excited to keep building on this vision, and thrilled to share it through this hackathon!
