Inspiration

Our inspiration for creating a peer review platform for the scientific community using Partisia Blockchain stems from the desire to enhance transparency, security, and efficiency in the peer review process. By leveraging blockchain technology, we aim to address the challenges present in traditional peer review systems and contribute to advancing scholarly communication.

What it does

Our platform utilizes the Partisia blockchain to establish a decentralized and tamper-resistant peer review system. Authors can submit their research papers, which undergo a transparent and secure review process by peers in the scientific community. The use of smart contracts and cryptographic techniques ensures the integrity of the reviews and the immutability of the entire process. The platform also facilitates communication and collaboration among reviewers, and authors, fostering a more efficient and accountable peer review ecosystem.

How we built it

We built our peer review platform using the Rust programming language and integrated it with the Partisia blockchain. The decentralized nature of the system required careful consideration of consensus algorithms, smart contract development, and cryptographic protocols.

What's next for PeerReview

Enable the UI for the users. Also, our focus is on expanding the capabilities of the PeerReview platform. We plan to implement additional features, such as decentralized identity verification, reputation systems for reviewers, and integration with other blockchain networks.
