Pebble TTC

Purpose

To allow users to be able to check when their busses will arrive at their stop from their Pebble smartwatch

Real Time

The app on the phone connects to TTC Real-Time Next Vehicle Arrival (NVAS) API powered by Nextbus which provides accurate data of exactly where every bus is as well as predictions of when they will arrive. Then it will send the information over to the Pebble to be displayed.

Why Is This Awesome?

There may be apps out there for the phone that may offer the same services, but who wants to take out their phone, take off their gloves, and poke a cold screen for a minute or two when you can just press a few buttons on your watch (yes, with gloves on)
