Inspiration: I want to build the next generation of financial infrastructure on Radix. This is one of the first steps.
What it does: It is a permissionless fixed maturity money market protocol
How we built it: I build by myself
Challenges we ran into: I had to write the entire scrypto code from scratch just two days before the deadline as I encountered some problems when building the dapp. I also tried to build a frontend which slowed my progress in writing scrypto
Accomplishments that we're proud of: I am a beginner programmer with not much coding experience. But I was able to write the scrypto code from scratch in 2 days
What we learned: I learned a lot about how to build projects and I will continue to improve
What's next for Optlend: Optlend has the potential to kickstart the next generation of financial infrastructure. I think production ready Optlend will be a game changer in debt financing and options
