Inspiration
I went to college with some amazing and noticed that my paraplegic friends now a days really could have used the online education services and also my remote friend could use it also. That is where the New School app comes in.
What it does
It allows the upper and total body Handicapped student to take part in online learning by using head gestures. Later text to speech can be added.
How I built it
The technology us just Swift.
Challenges I ran into
1) Google Data base updates on the latest generation Firebase has changed the code format significantly. 2) Virtually no docs on IBM Watson 3) I wanted to go it alone on this Hack. I wanted to test and gauge myself and immerse myself in the IBM technology.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I learned alot of code red and found significant Swift/IBM resources
What I learned
I learned that The IBM ML and AI is a lot more easier and friendlier to learn than I thought before.
