Inspiration

We know that house hunting is difficult, especially with the current state of the economy. So we thought that making the house-hunting process more streamlined for everyone would be the best way to go.

What it does

Nest Check presents the idea of what an app would be like for house hunters alike! The user inputs many data points so that the users can find out what zip code would be the best for them to invest in.

How we built it

This was created with React, Javascript, and good old HTML/CSS.

Challenges we ran into

Plenty of API struggles. The formatting was simply incorrect and incorrigible for some, and many builds were deprecated for others, which made for a long night.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

But on the flip side, we got zoning working on our map as well as a lovely user interface!

What we learned

Our team learned how to create and use animations in Bootstrap CSS as well as pulling data from the Google Places API

What's next for NestCheck

To turn this idea into actuality and launch it so that house hunters across the world can benefit from such a helpful tool
