Inspiration

Settling in to a new place is overwhelming. Setting up your household's internet service is a huge upfront cost and requires a scheduled installation date.

What it does

Rogers NetShare is a platform where Rogers customers can securely 'rent out' their high quality home internet to their nearby neighbours by the day, at a price they set.

How I built it

A team of 5 muggles hacked together for a weekend. 1 designer, 1 product manager, and 3 programmers.

Challenges I ran into

The biggest challenge for these muggles was positioning our idea in a way that would be beneficial to both the internet service provider (in this case, Rogers) and the internet customer who is sharing their internet. Also, we had to go on an early morning adventure to find a data sync cable!

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

It works!

What I learned

Don't be afraid to shoot for the moon!

What's next for Muggles Who Code

We're hoping to finally receive our acceptance letters from the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry!
