Inspiration
We were inspired by our experiences working out and the integral nature of music in this space.
What it does
Based on your workout, it matches a song that fits the intensity of the exercise.
How we built it
We used React for the front end and connected to a Gemini and Spotify API in the backend.
Challenges we ran into
Implementing Spotify Music Player within the app proved to be very challenging as it will difficult to integrate it with the Gemini API along with the frontend components.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were able to use the Gemini API well to generate workouts with well-tailored music.
What we learned
We learned a lot more about backend and how to built a full-stack project.
What's next for Move Sync
We will work to give users the option to input their own workouts, rather than simply generating one based on their preferences (time, focus, difficulty, and genre of music).
