Our team is aiming to improve upon the control system of modern electric wheel chairs. Where traditional wheel chairs use a joystick to take user input we have decided to design a touch free interface. We are designing 3-D gestures to implement with the Leap Motion controller. These gestures should ultimately be customization to cater to individuals with special criteria for the wheel chairs.
