Inspiration

Moodboards are used to capture a general theme. But its hard to find a balance between coherence and uniqueness between images. We hope to make this process simple by showing a small set of highly related yet unique images.

What it does

Breakdown description into keywords and use keywords to search for images.

How we built it

We used Google's Vertex AI to generate keywords using a description, then used https://www.pexels.com/ to get related images to each keyword.

Challenges we ran into

Communication between team members and getting APIs to work for everyone.

What's next for MoodScape

• Rate limiting to prevent few users from hogging up all the resources
• Diversify image sources by using more image search APIs
