I came into the hack with the idea of dedicating my time to learning to build decentralized applications using the truffle framework to write smart contracts on the ethereum blockchain. After explaining the fundementals of open blockchain to the team, the idea quickly evolved into that of a decentralized monopoly game with meme on the property titles. The idea was to raise awareness of the role of money and the role that decentralized institutions such as banks, jails, title companies, railroads, utilities and governments play in prolonging the game. Unfortunately the full vision of the game was far beyond the what could be brought together in the time given, but it was a fun experience nonetheless.
