MeetCode was created from the realization that professionals and students that were interested in building a career in technology generally were exposed to technical training tools like LeetCode, but often struggled with social interactions, especially following the pandemic. MeetCode is a platform for social learning, putting users into a variety of social situations and helping them hone their reactions within limited time. MeetCode is designed as a problem-board where different scenarios are available for the user to "solve". By answering empathetically, with iterated responses, the user gains the feedback and confidence to deal with that situation in real life.
We hope that this will give people with social anxiety a feeling that they truly are prepared for the sometimes difficult situations that await them in the professional world. We also think that this is can be a learning tool for those looking to communicate in non-native languages.
We hope to one day build a leaderboard and different achievements for people who frequent the platform, even working with professional sociology specialists to influence the platform and create an accessible learning environment for everyone.
