Inspiration
Math Runner is a game to learn math and have fun. There are many different ways of learning math and many can be boring or boring after a while. My reasons are that you have fun, learn math and work together.
What it does
Allows for people to practice and learn basic math skills in an engaging environment.
How we built it
We used Unreal Engine and Leap Motion.
Challenges we ran into
Finding an easy and fun way to interact with the game was a challenge we ran into. Getting everything software and hardware to work well.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud of turning a game originally designed to be played on a 2D screen into a game we could play using virtual reality.
What we learned
We learned how to cooperate with other people to bring together ideas and designs. We also learned to use our coding tools more proficiently.
What's next for MathRunner
Next, we'll attempt to complete the full maze with all different levels of challenges and math problems. We'll also implement a method to use double digits in the math problems for more physically challenging problems as well, exercising both the body and mind at the same time.
